So i got a call from a friend of mine yesterday asking if i knew where my old truck was. Apparently it got totaled and was sitting off the highway at a body shop. He sent me pictures and I entertained the idea of fixing if i could get it cheap enough but idk. Dude paid 500$ for it, he wants a thousand lol. Even at 500$ its a tough buy and its only worth it because of sentimental value. After all it is just a damned old xtreme lol but anyways heres the pictures. Before and after lol

my truck was damaged worse and I had to pay $1006 to get it back.

I had to replace the cab, which cost $500, looks like the cab on that truck is fixable, just damaged behind the passenger door and not sure how the hinge survived but it wouldn't be hard to fix that.

mine wasn't financially beneficial to save, I doubt I could sell it for what I have in it, but now I can drive it again and don't have a car payment.

This truck doesn't have a straight body panel on it. Bed is ****ed, doghouse and core support is ****ed. The cab is rusted and has a flat spot on the driver side, the 3rd door area on the passenger side has rust and is ****ed. Could it be fixed? Sure, but buying a cab would be a lot easier.

The front suspension is bent on the passenger side so that would have to be gone through and fixed. The frame is bent, so that would need pulled also. The motor and tranny have 200,000+ miles on em. They would also be replaced since I have a motor with 53,000 on it lol.

Literally the only thing that wouldn't get replaced is the rearend and rear suspension. I would LOVE to save it but it would be a helluva journey

Went to a bunch of junkyards today, stopped by the shop where the truck sat. I talked to the owner again and he's starting to buckle. He's dropped to 500$ and wants to keep the seats etc. He's not entirely sure if he's ready to sell yet.

Ive cleared room in the garage for it and I've got my fiance on board. I just need him to come around to the idea of selling it. Going to give him another month or two and take my father to look at it. He can talk anyone into anything.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I still plan on buying it back and I know it will need a lot of work but I hate seeing it go to shit. It would be a long project considering I'm getting married and buying a house in the next year or so, but one I want to tackle none the less.
