Im in the process of throwing a solid front axle under my 97 s10. The remote oil filter lines were junk and the oil filter mount itself was cracked, so i figured why not just mount the filter on the block since I will have room now.
Question is how does GM mount the filter on the 4.3s? The remote filter piece that I took off was held in by two bolts. It also looks like the hole in the block is threaded. I tried the adaptor from a 350 and that doesnt fit.
Anybody have a part # for what I need?
