if my friends manual gauges line coming out from them is 1/4inch and right after the switches and the gauges liones can we hook up 3/8 line or will it not even make a difference speed wise.

Are the valves 1/4? Is the line 1/4 as well? If you run 3/8 line, it should be faster. I think I know what you're sayin....

Would it really make a difference? Even with larger air line the valves are still 1/4" and manual at that. The valves arent any quicker by adding bigger line right? There's only so much air that will get through the valve. Wouldnt it take longer for the same amount of air to get through the valve but instead of 1/4" line its larger line so there is more room to fill in the line before the bag fills.

It probably won't be worth the time it will take to change it out. if he wants faster stuff, tell him to get electric valves. They are almost as cheap as manuals now days.
