Hello everyone. I’m new to the forums and new to s10s and ls engines, coming from a diesel world and wanted to try something new. I have a 1999 2wd s10 it’s a base model crank windows and the truck does not have hvac (my choice). Engine is a 2000 lm7 engine with minor upgrades.Anyway very close to starting truck but having trouble with wiring I am using the s10 fuse box and repinned the engine c2 to work with the s10 fusebox. I have repinned the c101 with the c100 and have been probing wires to make sure everything is right. Correct grounds in appropriate areas. My problem is when I connect my batteries negative terminal I get constant key on power and not everything on my gauge cluster will work. I get a voltage read and that’s about it along with battery light and park brake light along with occasional mile display. Key on key off is working as it’s been probed but causes no function inside. Fuel pump and relay will not turn on as well wiring is in correct areas and is getting power. Anyone have any guidance, advice, or anything that I can try to figure out this apparent nightmare?
