I am building a Stalker V6, Lotus 7 replica using a GM Crate 3.4L engine. Can be seen at www.canam-motorsports.com

I picked up a 2.8L Dist which is interchangable, but all of the wiring diagrams I can locate show at least three wires coming from the Dist.

The one I have has two, a Pink and a Brown. Can anyone shed light on this and provide instight into how the wires connect to the coil and/or wherever else that go?

There's been several distributors used over the ages.

You're saying this one only has two wires total coming out of it?! Or two plugs?

If it's two plugs, how many wires on each and what color are they?

One plug with two wires. Based on my research the pink one goes to the positive coil trminal and the Brown one goes to the negative. If you have a different theory I'd appreciate heraing it.

My '85 2.8 only has one plug with two wires coming from it's distributor, which plugs into the ignition coil.

Sounds right... The fat pink is usually power.
