I've started chasing this driveline vibration I've had since I bought the vehicle a couple years ago. It is somewhat torque and vehicle speed related.
I went and had the u-joints replaced and the driveshaft balanced, and I thought I had it because the drive shaft was a little out of round and definitely out of balance.
So I had it repaired and the vibration got a little better, but it still remained.

When I reinstalled the driveshaft, I had noticed that the slip yoke into the transfer case seemed to have a bit of play. That led me to think that the bushing in the extension house is worn out. So I thought, "Great, so I'll just buy one and replace it." but that didnt turn out to be so cut and dry.

Ok so now I'm here trying to see if anyone can help me make sure I get the right part.
I consulted the service manual and it didn't even mention that bushing to exist, not even shown on the exploded parts diagram. However I do see it listed in another parts diagram I found online.

Heres the one I found online: https://www.drivetrain.com/
I can't read which number it is (maybe 67?), but its in the top right hand corner of the second image on the bottom of the page.
I'll attach a PDF of the service manual diagram.

I also did find this on RockAuto. I believe this is the right part, but I just do not know for sure. It says FRT SLIP YOKE, which I can assume only could be for the slip yoke on the rear driveshaft. The front drive shaft doesn't plunge into the differential or transfer case, it plunges using a CV joint on the differential side of the shaft.

Any insight is welcome!
Thank you

That could be it. I'm not familiar with transfer cases and that one doesn't have a listing for parts in the WIT standard transmission TFC catalog. If it has a 27 spline slip yoke it very well could be it. thats a very common bushing for GM units of various models.

I ordered it and only then I realized it was not the right part. I have a 32 spline output shaft. Any input on what the right part would be?

Call WIT (Whatever It Takes) transmission parts 1-800-940-0197 ask for sales. They should be able to find the proper part. My guess is it is going to be a TH400 output bushing.

I spend some time looking again after I posted yesterday and found deep in O'Reilly's website was this: https://www.oreillyauto.com/
Its listed as the "transfer case housing extension bushing" in the application details.
I ordered it off of Amazon and it should be here today. The picture on amazon looks better than the on on O'Reilly's but I know the pictures don't always show the part you are ordering.
Anyways, I'll update this as to whether it's correct or not when it shows up.
Thanks

It was NOT the right bushing, wayy to small. I think it fits the 27 spline not the 32 spine output.

I ordered this one right here and it worked perfectly.

Never believe anything for sale on Amazon. You rarely get what you ordered. Plus their prices aren't that good. Rockauto usually is lower and you know what you are getting. Not some offshore clone or mislabeled part.

I actually did order the part from RockAuto too and it was way too small. I thinking it just isn’t a part they carry and I bought a bushing for some other part of the transfer case.
But I agree, I’d much rather get my auto-parts from an auto-part retailer, not some reseller on Amazon. At the time I was hoping for urgency in getting the part since my vehicle had been out of service for a few days already.
