I need someone to paint my truck. I plan on using the hotrod flatz black. Any local members do paint and body out of there shop or garage that looks decent? I want to help to learn something if possible. I would be willing to compensate and buy all materials. I could take it to a paint shop and pay them, but I have done just about everything and want to work on paint and body also.

hotrod flatz is not something you want to do in a garage. it may look simple but its more difficult to spray it properly so you don't get splotchy looking paint. IMO there's no shame in having a shop paint it. There's too much time and money to be wasted trying to do it on your own.

I might be game to drive to poulsbo. I have another question you guys might be able to answer. I dont have the stock hood, my new one should be here in a week or two and its fiberglass. I am going to have to put it on so I can drive the truck. Should I have a shop prime and seal it in the mean time? i
