‘02 Base model:

Front:3” lift spindles,relocated front brake lines,modified lower A-Arms.

Rear:2” shackles,1” black hubcentric spacers,2”upper shock extensions. replacement shorter rear wheel studs.

Wheels&Tires: 15x7 AM Baja wheels, modified NOS Base center caps,P235/75/15 BFG’s..truck is a 2.2. LT’s are too heavy for this poor truck imo. This tire&wheel package weighs LESS then the 215/75/15 and Steelies I had on her!!

Gold, bronze or metallic Tan? The only colors I’ve seen are tan,and bronze,..the bronze is kinda rare, and only on the older second gens from my knowledge..I’ve had a bunch of tan s-series...tan&white seem to be their most common color. I just bought another tan one last week..

And scrapped one yesterday

I go through a lot of those in that color, idk why:haha:

Yeah,I’ve had a LOT of tan trucks..three 3 door extended cabs in the last two years alone...and a couple regular cabs before that.

I always thought it was called sandlewood metallic?..or something like that? I always just call it tan or metallic tan. People know what I’m talking about when I say that...lol

This Sonoma is the first one I’m actually fixing. The rest have all been parts trucks. Like the color is the mark of death for these trucks:haha:

Finally swapped out the 2” shackles for 3”!

perfectly level now! 21” from center of the hub to the fender. Looks a tad taller then one of my stock 4wd truck. Like one with the keys turned up.

Front: 3” eBay knuckles, relocated brake lines using modified brake hose brackets off of a parts truck.

Rear: 3” lift shackles,4° leaf pack shim&longer centering bolt,2” upper shock extensions,1” hubcentric spacers,10 shorter wheel studs.

Wheels&Tires : AR Baja 15x7 -6 backspacing with 83.06-70.3 Spigot Rings(Hubcentic Rings),flush mount valve stems, P235/75R15 BFG Rugged Terrain tires, and NOS Base S10 center caps with the inside pegs removed.

Now that I got her perfect, time to make a clone with the white ‘03 in the background.

It looks really good! Hey I was curious, can you tell me what you meant by 2" shock extenders? Is it something you made or something I can buy somewhere?

I wouldn’t&didnt use the bolts that come with them tho. I used the ones in the picture I posted. They came from Home Depot’s nut&bolt drawers.

The listing says 4wd,but there’s no difference in the rear of a 2wd&4wd S10. they went in perfectly in my 2wd.

I’ve noticed on my truck (lifted 2” with RC lift) that the rear is lower than the front. Just slightly. Maybe an inch. Ordered some shackles to lift it 2. I think a slight rake in the front is better than the back appearing to sag.

You gotta take the leafs apart, and put a shim in the pack

it’ll vibrate at 40-60mph with a humming noise, and eventually destroy your U-joints..if you have a V6 with the double cardan joints I’ll eat them up,and cost you a fortune. My truck was doing it with 2” shackles in there,3” shackles would’ve made it worse.

I used 4° shims with 3” shackles. same kind pictured only I painted them black before I installed them. you can see them under the axle, and above the leafs.

I’d probably say 2-3° is appropriate for 2” shackles. I got mine here off of advice from @Slowlowandbangin

https://jagsthatrun.com/collections/chevy-s10

I bought eBay ones first, and they where cast aluminum that went over the centering dowl..seriously sketchy AF! from using drop blocks in the past I know for sure those eBay ones would’ve cracked, and moved on me sooner then later.

Bought a Hunter Truck Accessories eBay special brush guard!! Very nice looking, and fits really well!

Haven’t decided which lights I wanna mount on it yet. I want some round ones with the old school mesh style grilles. bright, but not so bright I can’t drive around with them on.
