rhenry i wish i had my camera when i started it ..i didnt have itand i didnt wanna waste the time to go back home and get it ...so the pic of it on the table is the first one....what i did and removed the headliner...i took some 1/8th inch fiberboard....set it against the wall used a overhead projector and a transparent sheet with my design and then drew it on the board....then cut it out with a saber saw..probably not the saw to use for this ,but im pretty good with that saw...next after it was cut out....i placed it n the headliner over the original headliner material...then i took it off after i found out where i wanted it...used the spray glue that we use on speaker box's..which is really glue that they use for counter tops for the laminent...sprayed the area and the back of the design waited abou 5 min for it to tack up then placed the design on the headliner...placed a couple pieces of wood over it and then a heavy box that had 50 lbs of fiberglass rope in it on top to help hold it in place...waited probably 25 min....then removed that stuff.....cut my tweed to size placed the headliner onthe ground and sprayed the whole thing generously....did the same to the back of the tweed waited 5 min to tack up then placed the tweed on the headliner.smoothing it out as i went...then i took my big hook tool turned it over because it had nice rounded end to it and used that to go around the design so the tweed would stick down around it.....and then wrap'd the tweed around the ends glued that let it sit over nite and put it in today at work ..all the other stuff i just sprayed it waited for it to tack up and then pressed it on cuttin and pulling it in the right ways...if i missed anything or if anyone has questions feel free to ask or you can email me at [email protected] or just post on this thread .. ill keep the pics updated the more i do

Do you pan on doing the rest of the interior as well? if so, how would you do things with crazy angles, like the dash face? The headliner, and the rest of the peices I can do just fine, just not sure how to do the curvy peices...
