Left turn signal marker on gauge stays on

So the left turn signal stays on when the headlights are on, and the left turn signal does not continue to blink when the turn signal to turn left is on. When the drls are off…. The left turn signal blinks but it also lights up a little bit of light on the right side marker, as well as dims and brightens gauges, ac, and radio light….
Any help would be appreciated!

do you have a turn lamp burned out?
the year/make/model and pics of the style of your headlight/grille may be necessary...

assuming you have the common style of a headlight assembly with a marker light/reflector underneath, there is a turn bulb in the marker and another in the headlight assembly...
i think the dash light will stay lit if just a marker bulb is out... it will 'click' faster too when you signal
obviously the rear turn bulb could be out as well...
sounds like you may have to inspect your wires for a bigger issue though

theres multiple light styles that might be different ... i know some gmcs and oldsmobiles have the markers and lights combined into one unit
It’s a 2002 s10 long bed, single cab, with the 4.3….. I have yet to try replacing the marker light yet, I ordered an led replacement, the one that was on the marker was also an led but the top of the led broke in half so…..the bulb “is burnt out” or not functioning . My front signal and the taillight signal both work but they don’t blink/flash, they just stay in the bright setting of the turn signal…..
i havent messed with leds on this truck but that may be your issue... leds are not exactly plug and play on turn signals...
no marker light will illuminate a dash light and click fast when the turn signal is applied.
my one marker bulb is pulled out now and theres a dash light illuminated constantly and fast click.
pretty sure your problem is led-upgrade related...
Damn….. I was not looking forward to hearing that, I really love the look of leds, but if it comes down to it I suppose the move back to bulb might be the move
First thing to do is fix the broken bulb. Then switch back to incandescent bulbs and be sure they all light up and work when they're supposed to. Then you can tackle LED's. You'll either need a load resistor for each LED or an electronic flasher. Also be aware that an LED is a Light Emitting Diode. Diodes only allow current to flow in one direction. If they're installed backwards they won't work right, if they work at all.
When you have all original bulbs in if the lights aren't working correctly S10's are famous for bad grounds on exterior lights. There is one on each coner.

Rare truck. In fact it is so rare GM doesn't even know they made a long bed in 2002.

1994-1999 offered a long bed which measured 89" long at the floor (+16") on all regular cabs.
2000-2001 offered the long bed on 2wd trucks only.
