The oil filler cap on my 92 2.8 leaks. This is the press in type cap. I have put 2 different new caps in to try and stop the seepage, but they have both leaked! The hole in the valve cover does not look or feel damaged in any way. Is this a common issue on these engines? Does anyone know of a cap that would fit better? Thanks!

Check your pcv valve. It may not be working and building pressure inside the engine forcing vapors out.
Thanks for the tip, Rhot! I just checked PCV, and it seems to have plenty of suction. But appears to have some seepage around PCV as well. I cleaned the valve cover off, and will monitor for the next couple days. The oil cap is super loose, but just seems to be the design. Very frustrating.

A new pcv and cap are pretty cheap.
