Im baggin my 94 SS this weekend and i was wondering if it should be layin frame or not? I got the manual Air ride setup for the front w/ 2500 bags and belltech spindles, and just a regular c notch and 3 inch blocks and 2600 bags in the rear. Its gonna be monoleafed if thats what i have to do to lay it, but id rather actually leave 2 leafs in it if possible to prevent axle wrap. Any ideas or comments? Oh yea there 17 inch rims.

you should be able to lay like that but youll have to go monoleaf to get the most adjustabilty.
i lay hard on 17" rims wth a mono and a cnotch.

ya u should be able to lay frame fine, but if i was you i would get a bigger c-notch cuz the one you have is prolly only about 3", the cnotches i have (not on the truck yet) were fabricated by a friend of mine and are i think 5"

does this:
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''____
----------------/ X \----

where X = axle
and where ----'s = the metal frame

ignore the ' marks

stock looks like

-----------------=====-------

where ===='s = bumpstops

a c-notch is a chunk taken out of the rear of your frame over the axle to allow more movement (up/down) and clearence for you axle.

a step notch is the same thing only bigger.both of them cut out the the metal of your frame and you weld in more metal to allow clearance and put the frame back to strength.
