No real update to the truck & the D44's are under about 3 feet of snow right now, so... here's a couple pics from all the fun in the snow this winter.

Also, Anyone on here in VA close to Williamsburg? Got a business trip planned for the third week in April and will be driving a rental down from MA for the week.

well, the pinion bearings in the 8.8 committed suicide after a small beating this weekend. Not sure what Im going to do at this point... I really don't want to spend money on an axle I'm planning on pulling out but the 44's aren't anywhere near ready to swap in. Dammittttt.

Well i think i decided to do exactly the opposite lol. Going to throw new bearings and a truetrac in the 8.8 while its apart.

The 44's just need to much work at this point to make sense trying to rush and swap them... Ive been tossing around the idea of buying a buddies s10 crew that needs some work, so maybe the waggy / rodeo combo will end up in that... or atleast ill have something else to drive to work every day if i decide to rip apart the blazer.

Today I fabbed up some bump stops (finally) using stock blazer bumps, some 2.5" square tubing and a set of spring perches i was gonna use if i ever went SOA. Didn't get a chance to weld but hopefully I'll have them stuck to the frame by the weekend.

Other than that no big updates... I did swap to adjustable end links (read longer) a while back and mounted another mustang bar up front that's unmodified, seems to ride a little better after that. I did a brake job the other day and put some nice Centric rotors and fleet performance pads in it. Stops good. I have over 30K on the swap now:eek:
