Ok, guys. I'm thinking about getting some 10 inch JL W6 DVC's. My question is, can I wire them into a mono load at 4 or preferably 2 ohm. They are dual 6 ohm voice coils so I'm not sure.

Thanks, Jamie

if you get 3, you can wire them to a 4ohm mono load, or a 1 ohm mono load. If you get 2, you'll get a 6ohm load or a 1.5 ohm load. 1 will give you a 3 ohm load.

Ok, next question, if I get a 1 ohm stable amp and wire them to a 1.5 ohm load, will I be ok?

Thanks

Yeah, you just won't get full power out of your amp. But the difference of power in 1/2 ohm is small. And the audible difference in that little of power is extremely small if not non-existant.

Well, maybe I'll just get a JL Audio 500 watt amp, they're stable at 1.5 ohms.(duh) I'm not sure yet, but thanks iasca_s10.
