RIP Bravada.

Nah, JK. I sold it to my step sister so I could buy this!

Mere days after selling my warm, AWD, heated seat, luxury suv for a small, rwd sports car...

Good thing it's on snow tires already.

Oh hey, so I did a burnout in this turd, and then the exhaust fell off. So naturally I drove the 2 miles home dragging the exhaust behind me. So yesterday I replaced the exhaust with a 26" glasspack figuring: "how bad could it sound?" turns out, really bad. I'm gonna add a tailpipe and see how that sounds, if it still sucks I'll just put a V8 in it or something.

Leave it kinda ratty with a healthy V8?
Yeah maybe. I don't really care what it looks like as long as it's solid. I don't think I ever want this truck to be "nice" because it's so fun to beat on. Also I'd be happy with a stockish 305 so I don't have to worry about my trans blowing up.

While I'm here I'll post some pics I guess
Properly beating the daily

A month after I got my car my we got my mom a new one too.
2013 mini 6 speed non-s in ice blue. Actually a pretty fun car for 120hp.

2 weeks ago a buddy and I drove from here (Ohio) to Atlanta for Formula Drift. His car is my twin, except it's a limited and it's not stock, and mine is a premium and it's painfully stock.

I've never seen so many 86/fr-s/brzs in one place before. I'm probably the only one on snow tires tho.

Drifting is pretty rad if you've never been.

Beautiful shots man. And going from a Bravada to a BRZ is definitely a nice upgrade. I've always like'd those cars, but with three munchkins I could never justify buying a car that I could't at least wedge most of them into.

But yeah I feel the same way about my truck. I could take the time to fix everything that's wrong with it, clean up the body, make it all perfect and give it a nice paint job, but that just defeats the whole point of having a cool beater truck.

Also I'm definitely going to be stealing the hood strut idea. From a JK you say? Time for a trip to the junkyard!

Thanks dude! The BRZ is great, way better fuel economy than the Bravada, although it requires premium fuel so it might actually cancel out cost wise, lol. I did 1400ish miles to Atlanta and back and got 32mpg doing 80-90 the whole way. And yeah, struts and brackets from a JK back glass.

Jeeze, what a ghost town. Anyways I'm still alive. The S10 still...exists? Idk. It hasn't really moved in about a year. I got bored and ripped the front end off, replaced the fenders and core support. Then I decided the engine bay looked shitty so I started to tuck the harness behind the dash, then life got in the way and progress has stalled. Most of the money/energy has gone towards the BRZ really. Wheels, suspension, ricer mods. Anyways heres some pics.

Yeah this place is so quiet these days. I have been trying to keep up posting about my truck, mainly just for my own sake at this point I guess.

But the BRZ is looking awesome... If only I could somehow justify having a fourth car... but shoot I already have to park my truck on the street 90% of the time... what I really need is an actual garage.

The S10 looks like it's coming along too. Even slow progress is still at least progress. Trust me I know how that goes, I actually just finally got my truck back up an running after being down for about a year with a mystery issue. Turned out to be a hole in the fuel line... inside the fuel tank. Ugh... but at least now literally everything else in the fuel system has been rebuilt too so I've got that going for me.

He hasn't been on in a year or so. I do miss Jake though.
He's still around, he's about an hour from me.

I bought the 3.4 swapped blazer he had last year.
