I picked up my 6.2 for rebuilding yesterday. Hopefully it will warm up around here so I can get some work done.

keep the pictures coming! i like where your headed!
Pics will be very slow one because I'm not good about taking them and two I don't have a good place to work on it since my brother moved out of his house and my work area became storage space:rant:

What transfer case are you using for the AWD????
one out of a bravada with smart track and i will be wiring it so it is manually selectable though

yup and yup trying to save some headache by using a 60e and I ended up with and extra set of manifolds when i replace the engine in my envoy so i wanted to see if I can make them work. Trying to sell my old parts though.

Small update, I got a new place to work on the truck now so i have got some work done

I found that the 4x4 frame was different in the rear than the 2wd frame so i fixed it

I also got the gas tank mounted (no pics yet) and i found that the engine mount on the passenger side is one inch lower than the one on the driver side so i need to remake my engine mounts.

Small update, I test fitted my front brakes tonight.

They are f-body front calipers with 13.4in z51 corvette rotors mounted on custom machined 2wd blazer spindles.

Now for pics.

Bracket mounted to mark clearance cuts

Plasma cut

Ground

Brackets and spacers bolted up

Caliper and pads on

Wheel on
