I have a 1998 s10 standard cab...i wanted to put some subs in there SOMEHOW! is there any kind of special box for my s10 that would allow me to fit something in there? there is not much room, and some of my friends say no way, and some say there is a way...also i wanted to get all new speakers....does anyone know the sizes of them? I need sized for the ones in the door, and the ones on the dash....thank so much!

MTX makes a thunderform box that hold one 10. Thats what i have now. The MTX sub isnt anything great so a switched to a memphis sub. SOunds alot better. But it you want alot of bass you could build a box to hold either 2 or 3 10's without lossing alot of leg room if any. The door speakers are 6 1/2 round and the dash is either 4X6 or 5X7. I think 4X6.

dash speakers are 4x6" doors are 6 1/2"

You have enough depth for a smaller 10....I built a box for a crossfire p1 (5.5" depth) and I lost a little leg room (passenger side so it's ok), maybe 2 clicks...but the seat still reclines to the window on the top.
