Hello everyone,(4.3 v6 96k miles, and oil change done 3 weeks ago) heading to work today noticed my oil pressure around this range. Is it ok to be that low instead of being in the middle, any suggestions or gauge just being stupid. Or is it normal?(This was after a 30 minute drive all warmes up)

A rule of thumb is 10 psi of oil pressure for every 1000 rpm’s.

It looks ok to me.

My 2.2l sits around 20psi when idling warm. It has never overheated or been abused by me. Bought with 40k miles, now at 125k. Wife's 98 blazer with 90k (bought 50k) idles like yours. Both have done it since owned.

I was having the same issue with my Blazer and my Sonoma. I decided to delete the oil cooler. Now my oil pressure is better than ever. My blazer the oil pressure at idle after it's warmed up is 42 PSI and on the freeway it runs about 64 PSI. My Sonoma is just a little lower than that. It's about 39 at idle in about 56 on the freeway, but my Sonoma has 480,000 on it. Both of them are 4.3 l.

Another rule of thumb is to never trust factory gauges.

Sounds good,thank ya'll for the information and tips so far its been around that and noticed when its cooler its closer to 40 psi.

What pressure does the gauge show at about 2000rpm, going down the highway when warmed up?
Your idle pressure is just fine.

I whole heartly agree with Salty. Just over 20 psi at idle is fine. If it's over 40 psi at 2K on the highway, all is good.

Its above 40 psi around 50 almost at 2k rpm
