Hey there, this is my first post. I'll try to keep my desperation to a minimum but it's hard to contain.

I recently acquired a 1997 Sonoma SLS, I bought it because when I was in high-school my grandfather had given me the exact same truck down to the year and colour. I was drowned in nostalgia. Unfortunately my original Sonoma had been wrote off by insurance after I got rear ended by a Honda civic a 70kph, so I was very happy to find this one a few years later...ANYWAY.

I bought this little truck to fill the void and eternal sadness brought on to me by the "civic menace" however the interior is the wrong color, this one is brown. It's in pretty good shape but want the grey interior that was in my original sonoma, if someone has a parts truck with the grey interior I'd be very inclined to purchase it. I'll also sell the brown interior, once I have the grey one. Need the SLS non sport with no center console.

have you looked into dyeing it?
dyes can totally change the fabric color with ease. the plastic bits can be re-dyed as well but i know less about that.

i need a new dash and will likely just do a layover type-thing, which may be an option for you as well.

another shot in the dark is to visit u-pick-it junkyards-dont just look fer Sonomas...similar year S10's and Blazers I believe are interchangeable seats...u may get "lucky", prices are reasonable, and if yer anything like me, even if ya strike out, it helps ya see what's around for future needs AND like Tim the Tool Man Taylor in Harry's Hardware, just walkin' around a pick-it yard puts a big ole smile on my face ;-)
