I have a '99 Gold S-10 LS extended cab. The interior is an ugly tan color, and I can't think of any ways of dressing it up, short of redoing the whole thing. You can see pics of it at my cardomain site, http://www.sounddomain.com/id/mikersdime

Although I'm strapped for cash, the best ideas I could think of are swapping out the interior for a black one of the same year/style, or pulling off the trim to expose the gold paint, glassing over the pop-out rear seats, and replacing the seats with a set of '55 caddie front bench seats and redoing them with a black and gold tuck and roll.

Any suggestions/criticisms?

id say sell ure tan one on ebay, and take the money and piece together a charcoal s10 interior.

In my opinion it is in no way worth it to try and swap over to an entire charcoal interior. That would be a lot of money and TONS of work to end up with a still stock looking truck. Think about everything you'd have to change, entire dash, door panels, headliner, carpet, seats, plastic trim, console, rear wall carpet/plastic, absolutly everything. I'd spruce up what you have now.

You could probably get the whole interior covered in tweed for around the same price as getting a different color. Then it would be custom, you could get whatever color you want, and you don't have to go through the trouble of selling your stuff.
