Cool, that's what I thought. What about Cavalier/Sunfire steering wheels? I "think" they should be interchangeable with my truck, I don't care about making the airbag functional.

Has anything else been done with this? I would be very interested and any info I can find, I can put up as well!

I just bought a 97 Ext Cab and need some interior panels.. so this would be awesome!

Do not put all your faith in Hollander Interchange, I just did an install of Powerlink Interchange software 2 weeks ago for the yard I used to work at. This software uses Hollander for an interchange and in the short time I used it found several mistakes in it. I also did the install on their old interchange software called AIMData and it had quite a few mistakes too. Keep in mind lots of this software has it's information entered by non-car type people who do not know if what they are entering is right or wrong and proof-reading only catches so many errors. I would say interior interchange is the weakest point on both systems from what I have seen. Use the interchange as a guide but rely on your own common sense and research before buying anything or trying something that may compromise your or someone else's safety.

Its more or less been done.

It's called the Hollander Interchange manual. Used to be a REALLY expensive book that pretty much only wrecking yards had - but there's an electronic version of it now (of course!). Trick is to find someone who has it! :)
All the Hollanders (book and computer) I've used haven't had straight swaps. Just what the factory interchange is.

i took the 60/40 split bench out of my 94 sonoma ext cab & put in buckets from a 2dr 95 grand am gt on the sonoma tracks, no modifications
you sit about 1-2 inches lower, but comfy

i replaced the rearview mirror w/map lights in my 89 s-blazer with one from a 97 tahoe w/compass & auto dim option dd7, fit perfectly on the original mirror mount tab, just had to wire it in

i also swapped out the plain jane sunvisors in my 89 s-blazer with ones from a 92 sonoma w/lighted vanities & pull shades, direct bolt in, just had to wire in

if yer not stuck on 'brand new' anyone who bags their truck should have a set, i know mine are layin around the garage still

as for things like steering wheels, its dependent on the splines of the column/wheel that should effect it correct? seats idk much on, i hear about swapping tracks/fabbing 'adapters', and straight dropping in cavi/sunfire/other s-series seats, but its all good info to try and track down.

Seats I know of to fit the first gen. Cavi 89-97, grand am same years, any other s-10, Bonneville no center console though wide seats 89-98 i believe, Cadillac Catera. if you can find one not wrecked beyond belief unsure on the years though. those all unless non stock mounts should bolt right up. some might even fit the 2nd gens idk i have only had mine for about 2 weeks now.

EDIT: Feiro, i cant rember if its a direct bolt up though, some one might know, if so some come with speakers in the head rest, though most are alread blown
