I got a 2004 blazer xtreme and I gotta instale a new ashtray assembly and I wanna know if anyone know's the correct and easiest way to do it before I start doing more then I have too ty

I didn't ask for a rude comment. I got to put a hole new unit in because the ashtray plastic track's broke

I'm just interested in getting some advice in how to do this...I don't wanna do more work then I have to..I got the part on order and should be here by next week

Are you talking about the part in the dash? I just looked the the wife's ZR2 Blazer. At the very least, the dash bezel has to come off, which means you'll want to take off the lower dash panels so that you can drop the steering wheel so that you don't break the emergency flasher off.

Yeah I gotta replace the hole unit. You can't just buy the plastic track's
