i believe the IRS the corvette uses is a Dana 44 independant isnt it? ive never heard of it being done, but it probably has. looks like it would require alot of hard work tho.

I know it's been done on other cars such as 57 Chevys, but I've not seen it done on an s-10. The Corvettes are weird though cause they don't use coil springs in the back...there's a really thick leaf spring/torsion bar that goes across from hub to hub.

You should check out other cars that are RWD with IRS like BMWs, Mercedes, or even like a ??-97 Thunderbird.

They've been supplying IRS kits based on the Jaguar IRS for years.

Heavy-duty hardware. Uses a Dana 44 diff.
Lots of these on hot-rods and full-size trucks.
You just tell them what overall hub-to-hub width you want.
Really easy to install, around $4200.

A S-10 with this (and an LS1!) would be awesome.
