My truck's ignition switch went out, so I could not turn it past Acc. I could only listen to the Radio. SO I rigged it to get it home.
Now I have put the ignition on switches, but there are 2 extra wires that went to the stock ignition switch that I cannot figure out. The two are both about 18-20 gauge skinny wires. One is tan/white the other is dark brown. The tan/white one goes to the BREAK! light in the dash, that used to go out after the truck started, now it stays on if I just supply 12V. The dark brown seems to have no purpose. It has something like 49ohms of resistance to ground. I need to know as much about these two wires as possible. I am not a thief, just a racer trying to go for the "cool" look. Thanks

What I was able to find out about the Brown wire was: Licenses Light,Tail-light,Stop-light,Frt. Marker lights.

Tan/White wire: Park Brake Warning Switch,Ignition Switch,DRL Diode Module,
