I just finished replacing both wheel hub assemblies on my 2002 S10 because of bad wheel bearings.
Now that everything is back together, the key won't turn, even to running position. It turns just a little bit, enough to show green-lit gear display and odometer. No power to windows or radio.
The steering wheel is not locked up either.

I tried resetting the computer and checked all fuses.
Could this have some safety feature to do with the ABS sensor or brake related?
I left the brake calipers attached to the rotors the entire length of the job.

Thanks for any advice!

It has a column shifter. I can't get it to shift anywhere with brake held down etc as well.
I think I may just start taking the steering column apart to inspect the ignition/steering connections per a friend's suggestion.
Also, I have replaced wheel bearings and whole hub assemblies before with no problems, but any ignition stuff is uncharted territory for me...so we'll see.

Got it fixed. Steering wheel locking pin (looks like 12 in BigPapa's diagram) got bent and jammed in while I was turning the wheels during the hub swap. Didn't need that thing anyway...ha.
Thanks for the responses!
