I'm trying to remove my ignition cylinder but it's stuck.
So a while back I replaced the ignition cylinder on my 89 S10. However, the new one I bought didn't have the little wedge on the cylinder that the pin/screw goes through. So after I put in the new cylinder, I tried putting the little screw back where it went but it didn't wanna go in. I started looking for a solution and I moved the ignition around and something clicked and the cylinder stayed in place without the screw. I knew this meant it was probably stuck now but I didn't care since I considered the issue fixed. I put the little screw aside because I didn't think I needed it.
Now I'm trying to remove the cylinder but I can't figure out how. Every YouTube video I see they always remove the little screw and take out the cylinder with ease. But mine doesn't even have the little screw in and I still can't remove the cylinder. I have the key and the ignition turns just fine. I just want to know how to remove it just in case. Any help?
