So I'm looking at getting a set of American Racing Torq Thrust II Custom Offset (C405) in 20's.
Here's a pic...

Here's the link...
http://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=168&name=Torq Thrust II Custom Offset (chrm center)&style=C405&desc=2-piece alloy, polished rim, chrome center&section=V

But I have to provide the info for backspacing/ offset....

The wheel will be 20 X 8. backspace range is 3.75 - 5.25 or 3.0 - 3.5 for the 20 X 8 Rev. Version.

The wheel will need to tuck on a 99 reg cab S10 laying frame (not body dropping it ever). Wheel wells will be pulled and all the other normal bagging practices will be performed.

How do I figure out what offset i'll need? or Can anyone tell me what offset/ backspacing i'll need?

Thanks

This is the sticky.

Edit: link wont work. Copy and past it to your adress bar or find the sticky. Its pretty easy to find.

Thanks dude but that is confusing as SH!T..... One guy says one thing and then half way down the page he says somethng diffrent. I'm not saying that he doesn't know what he's talking about but he may need to type ebverything out in one shot and not assume that the reader knows anything.

I feel more confused now than before. But I have the understanding that backspacing and off set go hand and hand (I think)

Do you or anyone else think they can explain this a little better????

Thanks.
