ok I called superbuy tires to see if some rims would fit my s10 and without asking for any info he told me that they would not... can someone tell me why they wouldnt fit...

the rims are 18x7.5
i have a 96 s10 with a 4/4 drop

as long as they are avaliable in the correct b/s and bolt circle they will fit fine.
b/s would be like 4.25" on a 7.5" wide wheel.
bolt circle is 5 x 4.75

I appreciate the help... now if they dont have that backspacing do you think i could get a spacer to make it work or would it be a bad idea?

just my opinon, but i would rather have the correct wheels then use spacers. spacers do work, and are fine most of the time. but they do put alot more stress on wheel bearings.
