I have a 2000 chevy s10 2.2 that I swapped a manual transmission into. It is very low and scrapes a good bit. One day I was going to check the oil and so I backed it down the driveway and after it scraped I reversed and then it stalled and won't start. At first I thought it was fuel related but on later inspection I saw that I had no spark. So I did two things, a while back I cut off the muffler and had to disconnect the secondary o2 sensor because it was running very rich. So I went under there to check it out and I noticed some wires melted together so I cut it to rule off that. Then I went to the coil pack and checked if it was getting power from the upper connector and it wasn't. So now idk what to do or check. Plz help Its my only vehicle

Just got done doing that today. I'm gonna check one more time tomorrow because today I just scanned over it.
Alright well I found out why It won't start but I don't know how to fix it. Just like you guys said it was sure enough a fuse. It's the ecm 1 fuse and the second I turn the key it blows. Any suggestions to what it might be?

ok- go to the wires you found melted and trace them backwards. they are still touching each other somewhere.
