i saw a pic on here a while ago. it was like a throttle body blade on the tip of the exhaust. would this work? like make the blade barely open for lower rpms and then wide open for higher speeds?

If your thinking about an electric exhaust cutout, then get one. You can hit a button and the exhaust will open up and be loud as hell, if you put the cutout ahead of the muffler or cat.

as far as i know, its pretty much either open or closed, and they're designed to be used at the track for keeping a stock exhaust till you get to the line, then opening them up. refer to all "duals flow too much" for the answer to losing power...

Electric cutouts are pretty handy, however, unless you drive with it open for 50 miles before you go to the track, you won't realize the best power gains from it, b/c your pcm will still be running fuel tables for the closed exhaust. And you will lose torque, b/c of the lack of back pressure.
