You wouldn't get an S-10 rear to fit without a fair bit of fabricatioin/modification. You could find a good used one using car-part.com and searching for "axle assembly." In my area they're going for around $400-500. Make sure you get one that matches your RPO code/gear ratio.

The rear axle (gear ratio) depends on several factors of a vehicle, such as 2 or 4WD, engine size, trim level, etc., and it may or may not have the locking/ limited slip differential option. The SPID sticker (in glove box) lists the RPO codes for the specific vehicle, and IIRC, the axle codes have a "G" prefix. From a quick search on Google, it appears that common axle ratios for the Canyon are, I think, as follows: GT4 -3.73, GU6 - 3.43, and GU8 - 3.08, and the L.S. option is G80. The best way to confirm your rear axle is to call the dealer, and with the VIN, they can verify how your truck is equipped. They should also be able to identify what truck models/ years the axle was used on, so that may broaden your search options.

For 4WD drivetrains, it is imperative that the front and rear axle gear ratios are exactly the same. For 2WD drivetrains, changing the rear axle gear ratio will affect drive train loading and performance, mileage, and speedometer accuracy. Your best bet, for simplicity, would be to find an exact replacement for your current axle, either used or reman.

short answer no.
colorado/isuzua/canyon are like 10 inches wider than an s10.
s10s are 5 lug, yours is 6 lug.
there is no easy way for you to go, except finding the right axle for your truck.
