I'm hearing people talk about lowering the rear up to 3 inches to level a 4cyl that's been converted to V8.

I don't want to go any lower -- I want to raise the front to match the rear.

What are some GOOD options (1989 4cyl, 2wd)?

New (not used) springs from a 4.3 equiped truck will eleviate most if not all of the sag from the V8. I'd definetly wait until you get the V8 in the truck, it may not sag as much as you think.

My white '82 that origionaly had a 1.9 in it dropped about 3" with a v8 swap.I swapped some 2.8 longbed coils in and it brought it back up to stock height.

My red truck has the stock 2.8 coils and it sits almost stock height also.
