if you're just running this round tubing from the firewall back, or either between the front frame section and the rear stock frame section, I'd double up on it, and build kind of a ladder looking setup on each side and having some major gussets where the round tubing meets the framerails, this will be your weak point in this kind of setup

yeah my plan so far is to double up from the fire wall back. so what do you think the best size round tubing would be?
Thanks

i would run 1/4'' wall tubing. it would be heavy and hard to bend but strong.

for my frame i am using 3x3 square 1/4'' wall tubing
1/4 inch round tubing, thats funny

I know that, im laughing because do you know how heavy and hard it is going to be to bend 1/4 inch thick round tube, especially if he doubles it up, that frame would weight like 3333 pounds.

:stupid: any thicker and it would be stupid to run round tubing. But if ur gunna use round you will need to build an actual structure, not just two simple rails...round tubing is a hell of allot easier to bend then rectangular tubing.
