how much of a power gain would we be looking at for that $600?

Power increase depends on how big your engine is, and what mods you have done. Do all your bolt ons first, your money will be better spent there...exhaust, intake, then maybe a cam, NOS.....
Once the engine is capable of getting more air in and out, then a port&polish job will be more worth your money. Later.

BlueZQ8 has it right. They need to make a decent intake for the 96 and up's before a set of heads will do alot. As it is, depending on the mods as little as 5 H.P. and as much as maybe 15. If they had a decent intake you could easily double that number or more.

not to be picky but...

R+R stands for remove and replace. Reinstalling the same part is R+I(remove and install). Just thought I'd be an ass...LOL
