i have stock rims with 255/75/15 tires on them. if i decide to go with 215/45/15, how much would the truck lower? same question with 215/55/15.

thanks

i wouldn't go with a tire that small.

i would go with a 215/60/15 in the front, and a 255/60/15 in the rear.

or if you want a little bit smaller, 215/55 and 255/55

here is a pic of my old truck with 215/60 and 255/60 on a 5/6 drop.

i had 215/50 all the way around, let me see if i can find a picture, but they look way to small.

since you guys didn't go with a bigger rim, yet went with smaller profile tires...did that throw off your speedometer?? i believe it should have....

yeah i just did it...when going from a 205ish/70/15 tire to a 215ish/50/15 you're running 10.8% too fast...just something to consider...although better to have your speedo run too fast then too slow.

your speedo is about 10mph to fast

and even if you get a HPPIII it wont correct it, you have like a 24inch tire, and the smallest the programmer goes it is a 25.

but still get one, because the miles go up pretty fast when its 10mph to fast.
