hil: ... i just got a qoute for a set of caddy tails on my truck and the guy wanted 1300 dollars for body work and paint plus eqiupment. What did yall pay, does this seem outragous?

Hello! I did my own, and the amount of fab work to do it properly and make it look right is pretty intense. Just to get the bed repainted alone without all the custom work could easily run that much. Check into the work they do with other people if possible, the cheapest price isn't the best thing to look for when looking for custom work! Good luck, I attached a pic of my bed!

Yeh 1300 definatly seems like a fair price to me. I talked to a guy that got his done and it was right around $1000 a light. Im doing mine myself knowing that a body shop can always fix it if I fock it up too bad.
