coming up on 197k on my '88 2.8. Original engine, tranny, internals have never been touched except a head gasket. I've put almost 50k on it and have never been stranded. Runs great on the highway, I can cruise 80 if I want. Might take me a minute and a half to get there but I can get there
I'm in the process of buying a 89 4.3L, Ext, w/ 270,xxx but it was rebuilt 50,xxx ago. I want to either turbo it or supercharge it, i was kinda of wondering if i should rebuild it again just to be safe, and it's 4WD and i plan on changing it to 2wd how hard and how expensive is it?
