How do you remove the wiper arms??

Ok guys my friend owns a 94 Sonoma and he wanted to put the wiper stem cover things on, but we can't figure out how to remove the wiper arms. We just tried for a few minutes and it is dark so we might have been overlooking something. Any info on how to remove them would be appreciated.

Just unscrew the nut and popo them off with a screwdriver. There might be a cover over the nut, but that just pops off with a screwdriver, too.
