Which bulb do you get? They show two diff pics. One with and one without an extra halogen bulb. Also, I'd stay away from anything over 6000K unless you are buying it for the color, not the light output. Finally, you're prob gonna get a lot of shit from others for asking about HID's in a non-HID housing. There's going to be a lot of glare for on-coming traffic.

the reason they'er illigal. it's a major saftey issue on country roads and 2 lane hyways because they cause flash blindness to oncomeing traffic. thinck about that for a second. you blind the person traveling 60-70mph in the oncomeing lane...can you really mad if they cross over the center line?

HIDs scatter light so in realty the driveing light you get from them is less than than with a set of good dot aproved headlights
