ok guys i'm a little mixed up...some of you say they need to be removed completely, and some of you say no problems with them left in (3" blocks that is: on a zq8). i would rather not remove them if i didn't have to (and use 3" blocks) . having said that whats the deal with 2" blocks?

thanks

best thing to do would be lower it and then drive it. you will know if you need to remove them, i have a 4 inch drop in the rear total and i had to remove mine.
yours will be about 1.5+3.=4.5 think your going to have to cut them out.

I also have a 4" total rear drop,(3" leaf, 1" block), and even with the rubbers gone it was on the brackets, so I got out the sawzall and lost them.

ok frank, I have 3" blocks and my truck rides like as$!! There's a 99% chance that you're gonna have to cut your stops...... you can't get out of it. :(
