This is a piece of original hard lid bed cover weather strip gasket . Can’t seem to find a type of replacement on eBay or from anywhere not even knowing the “technical name for this style. Closest I come up with is tubular. It don’t have to be the same but pretty close to this design . It seals the lid itself to the bed rails and takes up for the slop when the lid is latched. Some sections were torn and missing.

The piece is often referred to as a truck cap/ topper seal. There are many resources online for this product, but maybe not exactly this profile. The seal appears to be a typical (generic) neoprene gasket. Attached is a link that may serve as a starting point for your search, but there are many others. Best of luck.

It looks like the beaded squeegee rubber that I buy by the roll on occasion. It doesn't look like any of the tonneau cover weatherstripping that I'm familiar with. Who makes the cover?
That information is also not obtainable. It’s probably an early early model type of lid made. Maybe even by a short lived company.. Put 2 pics showing the way the seal sits and the lid itself . Someone told me it’s older Since the cylinder lock is all that opens the lid ‘ No handle no T-handle ..All tags and model information are long missing , the guy I got it from also got it second hand but for 50$ On a parted out truck it was a clean find ,a few shops I called had “no” idea where to start with finding something close to this style gasket .I wouldn’t say it’s a decorative seal it definitely has a purpose based off the slack it takes up when the lid is locked . The sections missing leave a lot of give when the lid is locked .
It’s probably not generic and some specific trim manufacturer made this for these lids at that time .And I found out trim has too be glued to fiberglass usually . So all I need is a generic replacement that’s close to this type . The reason it can’t be wide or any other type is the lid closes and there’s not alot room…..
Between the aluminum frame and edge of the lid .

Rhotpursuit That 20ft of ESI super cap seal posted may work if I modify and cut off one side of the rolled rounded edge. I need one flat side too glue and the tubular
“round “ part kind of falls in place and seats directly under the lids painted trim edge when closed

Based on your photo, it appears that the seal is a either an EPDM or high density neoprene material, sometimes called 'sponge rubber'. That is the typical material used for camper seals. Avoid the low density type (often gray in color) as it is ineffectual for weather sealing (used primarily for sealing out drafts, not moisture). Also avoid any type of solid ruber seal, as it would likely lack the necessary compressibility. As you noted, you may have to find a profile that is close to what is currently there and modify it - it would seem that the critical factor here is the diameter of the bulb moreso than the width of the flanged leg.

The seal can be attached with either a really good double stick tape (3M makes some really good ones for seals) or weatherstrip adhesive (3M also makes a really good high tack product). I have used both in various applications with good results.

A lot of people make mistakes when replying to a thread. It doesn't make them scammers or bots. Not worth losing sleep over.
We’ll maybe mistakes happen with the context in a reply “ that’s acceptable” but I’m still going too speak on it . Just like everone else puts in there 2 pennys. All dudes have egos and attitudes and suspicion in life and freedom too speak on it is free. There’s no cap or regulations on being a smart *** here in this forum unless this is a politically governed forum .No reason to question that or me .... I wasn’t rude I said what i said based on what it looked like .
“ Although these messages are 13 days old already… I suppose when someone lists something for sale and within “ a days time and even hours apart you have two direct messages from two different people with same day acct registration and 0 created threads saying oh I have the answer or I have that item, just e-mail so and so at this address?? At that point feels suspect. I happen to have had that , happen within the last few weeks . I didn’t feel like that was common occurrence on such a legit monitored forum. I’m that type that calls things out “ but never loose sleep over people 👍

Just an FYI...this is not a politically governed forum...neither is it a democracy. There are limits on being a wise guy when it steps over the line of decent behavior. It's spelled out in the Forum Rules & Regulations.

As for the guys that pm'd you..would have been good to know at the time. I have deleted both accounts. I posted a scammer alert in the Off Topic section awhile back.
Here's a link to the Scammer alert sticky...
