I have a 2003 S10 (Double DIN Dash) want to install a andriod auto head unit for navigation. I want the screen raised from the stock location, as it gives a better viewing angle while driving.

Has anyone installed a head unit that would block the vents above the radio? Will I have to shave/plug the vents?

You might want to contact Crutchfield Audio (All Car Stereos at Crutchfield). They may have some insight about the installation.

I have an old Pioneer Navi unit in my '97 and I can not change cd's if the truck is in drive because the screen slides out and down to axcess the drive.
