yeah 4th gen camaro/c5 vette rims (the same I beleive) bolt on to the 4WD/AWD chassis, however I like to ditch the factory wheel offset(which I think is for turning radius?) by adding a 1" spacer on the rear, which brings C5 wheels flush with the fender.
I have 4 18"x9.5" C5 wheel on my 4x4 Blazer. Where can I find a 1" adapter, all I've seen are 1 1/8". I almost bought the 1 1/8 but, I'm holding out for the 1 inchers.

FoolThrottle, I was looking through an old Good Guys magazine in auto body class the other day and I believe I saw your rat/hot rod in there? Sound right?

Oh! That thing is wicked! I wanted to build a rat a few years back but my dad didn't want to help and I didn't have the funds. Of course it would've been true rat rod due to low budget, nothing like that one!

The Camaro wheels////fail
Looks like every other donk here in town. No thanks I wanna look intelligent

That all depends on drop. IF you lowr enough, 20's look sick on an s-series.

HAS to be low enough tho, or i agree with you.

That extreme looks pretty good. Still too high tho.

Hmm...after seeing that X Blazer, makes me want to find a set for my burgandy Blazer! I'm actually thinking of a set of these for my wife's G8. Cheap way to get polished 20's and they bolt right onto a G8.

just to chime in last year at lowdown a bd mazda was rocking the camaro ss rims with no problem. If a mazda can do it I'm sure us s10 guys can make it work. It looked really good, first rig i've seen with the camaro rims on something other then the camaro. Just my 2 cents

I was trying to remember the truck so I had to look it up. This is the only one I could find from Lowdown. Those look more like Silverado or Avalanche wheels. But either way, it did look sick with those wheels on it.

Yeah..those are polished Avalanche wheels. Since they're 6 lug they probably just bolted onto the Mazda. Same with the one with older full size truck wheels in the background.

The Z06 wheels on my Typhoon are 17x9.5 I'm not sure on backspacing and offset (46mm rings a bell but not sure). I run a spacer on the back. I can't remember is it's 1 or 1.25in.

The sit flush with the cladding in the back

I put the 2010 Camaro Rims on my 2001 Sonoma ran into a couple problems but nothing major. I had to get two front tires Im running the original 275/40ZR20s in back and changed the fronts to 235/35ZR20s not rubber bands you can go smaller to 235/30ZR20s but the 35s are good no rubbing eaither.

What is needed:
4 1 inch Adapters $50 each
4 spacers $10 each
10 extra reach wheel nuts $1 each

The 4 spacers go in front 2 for each side. Each wheel gets a adapter the back is the easy part just bolt on the adapters with the original bolts. On the front you need to put a spacer first then the adapter. You bolt down the adapter with the extra long nuts, then put another spacer. So it goes spacer adapter spacer. The extra long nuts will fit into the adapter so the spacer fits flush.

Why didn't you just get a 1.25 or 1.5" adapters for the front? I wouldn't want an adapter AND two spacers on there.
