Greetings everyone. I'm fresh new into the world of anything not related to Jeeps. Been over 20 years since I have owned anything other than a Jeep vehicle wise.

Within the last month. I just picked up a new toy.

2001 Blazer Zr2

-SAS Dana 44 & Ford 9" 4.88 gears with posi in the rear. Manual locking hubs front
-4.3L with 208,000kms & Hypertech Power programmer 3
-Factory 5speed Transmission NV3500
-Custom NP241/231 Transfer Case with cable floor shifter
-James Duff Longarm Coil Lift front & Leaf springs rear
-35 " MTS
-Banana Armor custom Winch Bumper
-Banana Armor custom rock Sliders
-power/heated Leather Front seats

Shes been fun to play around with, but unfortunately last night I ended up doing a bit of carnage to it. Got a call from the sisters husband, being stuck out at the farm. Long story short I should have let the tractor pull him out. Ended up cracking the rear case of my transfer case clean off.

Just waiting on towing the beast home and ripped the old case out, to see what I need for a replacement. Hopefully get her back up and running by end of the week.

Shes a fun toy, and looking forward to getting her ready for some summer fun and adventures.

Looking forward to going through the forums.

Oops , That's abit of a sticky wicket. And a tad expensive too. Another episode of 'Let no good deed go unpunished '
Hope you've access to a lift & trans jack or strong armed mates. Fine looking ride that appears well done. Let all know when it's back on action.

Have the tools. **** part is rig might be a little too tall to fit in my garage. Hoping deflating the tires will give way enough clearance to squeeze her in. Other wise cross fingers and stretch some isolated tarps over rig and heat.

Yes lesson learned for me definitely. Should have been tugging what I was. Definitely Cuts into some build expenses having to fix this avoidable carnage.

Hoping to to have her back up and running by end of week. Hopefully I've tracked down a replacement NP241 that should be compatible, just wanna pull the old one to confirm.

Wasn't expecting to be doing any major mechanical work and this sure could have been avoided. Operator error at its best
