Any speeds above 60kmph the truck vibrates once i let go of the gas pedal, the vibration also goes away when i put it into neutral at speeds above 60kmph. I also hear a clunking noise, the faster i press down on the accelerator the louder the clunk noise gets, could this be the ujoint?

Sounds more like a manual trans that's dying.

Its a 700r4, the issue only happens in overdrive could it just need a TV adjustment or be the torque converter?

bad U-joints will present with a high speed vibration (a buzz)
If they are bad enough to clunk it will shake pretty bad and are likely very close to coming apart.
Set the brake and block the wheels and put it in neutral, then slide under the truck and fondle the driveshaft.
Take a light and check for rusty powdered needle bearings leaving the joints.

Sounds like a double post issue to me.
Posting 2 questions at the same time on the same issue usually ends up with the answers acting like a cat chasing it's tail.
