hey this might be a really stupied question an i might get flammed for it but how do i get that cover that goes around like the headlight panel an around the gauges an the ac vents an stuff im not sure how to get it off an dont wanna break it ?

I'm assuming you are talking about the frame like piece, which people usually paint. If so, there are two screws right in front of the gauges "upside down", and the rest is all clips.
I have a 97.

There are five screws
1. Look under the top of the dash in the center of the gauges.
2. there are two each on either side of the steering column on the lower trim pieces.
3. If you have a tilt steering wheel, lower it as far as you can.
4. gently pry around the edge of the piece you are trying to remove. It is held in with clips.

Just remembered. There may be two more screws (one one either side of the steering wheel) underneath the lower pieces. Not too sure, since its been over a year since I took those pieces off.

Yes, that is correct. There are two more screws at the bottom of the main piece that are hidden by the lower piece.
