I wonder if thats what my cluster in my 98 did? I was driving home one day and all the gauges went to max then came back down to zero then went back where they should be, sort of like it does when I start the truck. I think some lights came on in the cluster too, might have been all of them, I can't remember because it freaked me out.
My truck is lowered 3/4 and needs some TLC on the suspension so I figured the hard bottoming out and vibrations shook something loose.
