i have 87 s10 2.8 i just put a new fuel pump in. when the truck is running should the pump be running all the time.and also i seem to be getting some fuel getting in the oil pan. what could be wrong.also i put a new fuel reglator on.please help.thanks

i seem to be getting some fuel getting in the oil pan...could be blown intake gasket
