What is everyone running for a fuel pump? I plan on using the truck for cruising around. My swap project took a unexpected fast forward, I’m currently doing body work to the truck cab corners, dings in the doors from a$$holes hitting my truck with there door. I’m also changing the core support to accept the 98 n newer lights, when I pulled the passenger fender found the lower cab rotted out. The engine is coming out to fix it right and to undercoat the entire underneath. So I’m not going to put the V6 back in.

My bro has been running a stock 4.3 pump with a stock 6.0 for 10 years. No issues.

I've been running a Delphi EFG0123 pump on my '03 with the updated electrical connector for about two years with no problems.

I’m truck is currently an 4.3 TBI, I didn’t think the stock in the tank pump supplied enough pressure.

TBI wont make enough pressure to fuel a stock LS. You need to update to I would say a 96 and up pump somehow.

Yeah. Mine is the stock 2000 4.3 pump.

If you're doing an update look into the racetronix pumps and conversion parts. I put together a diy pump upgrade setup for my 92 at around $100. They have lots of good options for different power levels.

I'm back in the hunt for a fuel pump.

The Quantum unit won't work for me as I have a 2.2L tank and the Quantum folks say they don't have a drop-in assembly for the 2.2L. I had the one that said "(or LSX swap)", but you still have to have the 4.3 tank so, back it goes.

OK... is simply getting the pump only, from a vendor and installing it in my factory unit my only solution?

Options...Choices...?

Thanks...

So how hard can it be to put in a 4.3 tank if that's what you need? The external dimensions should be the same if you get one for the same year and model that originally had a 4.3 with CPI or SCPI.
