sorry i know this is the wrong forum but i would like to see fellow 2.5ers get their hands on this first

i have a 2.5 motor and tranny combo with 91k miles, new starter, newer wires and spark plugs, doesn't come with altenator (old one siezed up) $300 obo will not ship, i live near Flint Michigan

How much for just the engine, no tranny???? My truck already has a good 5sp, but my engine gave up the ghost, along with the main bearings.

I'll have to check with the wife on the money, and when we can get it, but it sounds good to me so far... How far could you go, to deliver, possibly? I'm just north of Grand Rapids, and my haul vehicle just recently took a crap on the side of the road, and my alternative, my father-in-law, is usualy working 7 days a week now, as am I...

When I said "when" we could get it, I wasn't thinking this soon... Like I said, I'm working 7 days a week right now, with an occasional Sunday off... With the way our overtime is scheduled right now, it'd be at least the Sunday before Christmas before I can go anywhere... Plus the fact that I don't have a vehicle to get there yet... I'll hang onto your # though... Lata.
